The Ax is Back

Registration will be Day of the race at Cooper’s Pub in Decorah, IA

1101 Highway 9 W

Decorah, IA 52101-2409

8:00 to 10:00 Registration
Race starts at 10:30

There is no Pre-Registration, however
please select the Attending option in the Facebook event

The course will consist of (hopefully) snow covered paved trail, gravel roads and snow shoe/mtn bike trails.  Expect anywhere from 20 to 30 miles depending on conditions.

First place $500.00
Second place $250.00
Third place $150.00

There will also be prize money for the events that follow the race

$1250.00 in prizes overall

There is a suggested donation of $20.00 to the DHPT trail group

The race will begin and end at the same location this year, in Decorah.

Anyone can ride and participate in the race.
You MUST RIDE A FAT-BIKE to place and win prize money.
You do NOT have to ride a Puglsey to be eligible to win.
A fat bike is defined as a bike having 3.7 inch tires front and back.
The winner of the race is not necessarily the Pugsley World Champion
