Wallpaper Wednesday – Moonlander with Aspens

Ray sent in this shot of his Moonlander amongst the Aspens near Flagstaff, AZ. He says:

I’ve been rocking a Moonlander in the mud, snow, and dirt all year round since December.

This is a recent shot of a ride I did the other weekend when the Aspens were at their most colorful… mostly from the “Inner Basin” & “Waterline Road” area of the San Francisco Peaks in the Coconino National Forest just north of Flagstaff Az.

I know exactly where that was taken, even though I now live 1,500 miles away. Glad to see they fixed Waterline Rd after the fire last year.

Hey, my ol’ moonlander… a decade old photo! Sadly this is pretty close if not in the area ravaged by this year’s Pipeline Fire… Waterline is totally trashed and closed as is the Inner Basin access to check out the area. My favorite campsite also got toasted a bit further down this road…
