The 3rd annual Frozen Fat Fondo Fest, hosted by FORC, is not just a fat bike race, it is an all day event centered 100% around fat bikes and the people who ride them. Join us on the banks of the Mississippi River at The Lodge on Credit Island for the scenic setting to the fest. The 3 hour race will kick off the day's activities followed immediately by the award ceremony and then on to the Shenanigans.
Details:
- 8:00 am - Course pre-riding opens
- 9:00 am - 10:30 am - Packet Pickup and day-of event registration
- 10:45 am - Fondo Riders meeting
- 11:00 am - 2:00 pm - Fondo Fat Bike Race
- 12:00 pm - Hot Chow sales begin
- 2:30 pm - Fondo Awards
- 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm - FFFFestival Shenanigans. Music, Food, Bonfire, Consumption.
- 6:01pm - ??? - Night Ride along the banks of the Mississippi (bring yo' lights). Consumption. Tall Tales. Short Lies.
And after reading all of this you are still on the fence about coming.... There are a ton of American Bald Eagles all along the island right now. How many times have you raced under FREEDOM?!?! Exactly.
Frozen Fat Fondo Fest is more than just a fat bike race. It is an all day fat bike party.
