West Fork Phat

The West Fork Phat is a Fat Bike Race on the Frozen West Fork Des Moines River. We took away the groomed, designated trail and replaced it with a frozen river. Added patches of snow drifts, slick ice, and snowmobile tracks. As the rider you get to choose which track to follow around every river bend on the 5 or 15 mile out and back course.The travel friendly 1pm start time allows riders sleep in and arrive with time for a solid lunch before racing.

Proceeds from the registration will go towards mountain bike trails in the West Fork Des Moines River Valley.
