If you were around the punk/hardcore music scene in the early ’80s I hope you got to check out Hüsker Dü, the Minneapolis band that was the inspiration for the name of 45North’s new 26×3.8″ fat-bike tire. It seems like an apropos name for an aggressive fat-bike tire and offers another in the growing range of choices for tires you can shod your fat-bike rig with. With a reported weight of 1380 grams for the prototypes, these new tires from the fledgling QBP brand should weigh a bit less than your Larry. If this tire live up to the billing of the brand “delivering unparalleled performance in cold-weather conditions” this tire will make another great choice the fat-biker looking for the ultimate ride.
Look for a complete review when these tires drop about mid-November.
