TufRack of Ontario, Canada has announced a new version of their proven, off-road, MTB hitch-rack tray, that will accommodate a BigFatLarry. The rack above is their final prototype, before powder-coating. The fat rack will come powder-coated in either Black or (Hi-Viz) Yellow. The hi-viz yellow is designed to assist motorists see your precious cargo and avoid rear end collisions, and black just  goes with everything. The racks have a life-time warranty and that warranty covers off-road use – but not abuse. Delivery time of the new fat-racks will take about two weeks to manufacture. When I spoke with, Jon Anderson, owner of Tufrack, he said, they hadn’t made a final decision on the price of the new tray, but that, it would run approximately $225 (CAN). Add in the $40 hitch receiver and for $265 you can carry your fat-bike to races or your favorite trail-head. These racks have a downhill bike pedigree, so they’re built to carry heavier loads on shuttle runs , consisting of logging and forest service roads. Check out the burly specs below.
