can we (my 2 friends and I) demo a fat bike for the race?

okay maybe it is not a race. better questions: what is a 3 person 3 hour tour? do you register for the demo, the tour, or both?

The long and short is yes. The way the enduro works you don’t need to own one, you will get matched up with people who have one. Salsa will also graciously be there running a “demo” at the same time. So effectively they are two separate events, but you can use demos during the event.

Enduro’s are, IMO, designed to get as many people on fat-bikes as possible. The format is very loose and more will be explained in a small manifesto on the FB event page.

My suggestion is to show up with your fun face on, some cash in your pocket- for food or fun betting, and an open mind. We will take care of everyone. This event is of course FATTIE APPROVED.

Registration will be on-site and free. No registration needed for the Demo truck

Martin – you don’t need a fat bike, and there’s no need to reserve one. We’ll have our rental fleet there, and Salsa is bringing their demo truck as well. No need to reserve anything, there will be plenty of fat bikes at the event, and definitely the opportunity to ride an assortment of them.

A three person three hour tour? It’s whatever you want to make of it. Want it to be a race? There’ll be people putting down fast laps. A fun time? Brig your friends, but when we pick teams (at the event), don’t end up on the same team as them – teams will share bikes, so typically only one person riding at a time. A personal challenge/goal? Perfect for that too. We’re anticipating a lap taking 10-15 minutes, based on weather conditions. Maybe you want to complete just one lap. Maybe you want to make it across/over/through whatever obstacles may litter the course.

Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your warm clothes, and be ready for a good time! Hope to see you there!
