For the last few weeks we featured the top photos from our 45NRTH Summer Photo Contest and today we get to share the #1 photo! Randy Armstrong, of Anchorage Alaska sent us this great photo and this is what he told us about the shot.
Here’s my entry for your photo contest. Three of us did some beach fatbiking mid-June along the eastern side of Cook Inlet, on the shores of the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska, south of Chickaloon Bay. We had a beautiful day, found this terrific boulder-filled playground, and snapped a few shots to take advantage of the conditions. That’s the Chigmit Mtns in the background, a part of the Aleutian Range. Rider is AKTay49.
