The Mastodon will feature a made in the USA, 7005 series, double butted aluminum frame and a White Brothers Carbon Fork. The build kit on the Mastodon is pretty darn impressive and centers around SRAM’s XX1 drive train. A medium frame weighs in at 4.1 lbs and the complete bike is a meer 24.2 lbs! Bruce from 38 Frameworks tells us that the Mastondon will be ready by July 1st and run you $3,699.

I want my 29+ to have its fork crown just a half inch or so above the tire. I’m really not digging the super long fork/short headtube action
magic stuff. 29+ frame choice now has another option.
looks like a sus fork will fit if required..??
