Wallpaper Wednesday – Krampus in the Alps

[adrotate banner=”38″]

Gomez ran across photos from Marco on the Interwebs and asked if we could use a few of his spectacular shots on fat-bike.com and here is the first one along with a bit of a story from Marco in his own words:

I’m Marco, from Italy… I send you a shot of my Krampus…you need a history? OK!

In June I’ve attempted to race the Great Divide Race, after a year of hard training (and no fun!). After 1’000 miles I’m stopped due to physical problems (ankle tendons inflammations…) and I’m come back to home.

Just 3 week to rest my body, and to have a new bike… stop training, just FUN! What better bike than Krampus?

First ride on my region (Aosta Valley, IT) and just 2 quick turns to know that this is THE BIKE!!!! The perfect Single speed!

From 1 month I ride only my Krampus, I have stopped all my “trainings” and finally I have my smile in my face all the time!!! This is my History with my new toy!!!

In the photo you can see, on the right, the “Grande Jorasses” mountains, and, on the horizon, The Mont Blanc!

We’ve kept this one in 16:9 format. Just click on the link below to open the full-sized version which you can right-click to save.
