Buenos dias amigos! This is your tio gomez, once again, coming to you from the secure bunkers of the fat-bike dot com test facilities, located deep underground somewhere in America’s Dairyland. Today is Friday the 13th and all of the forces striving for world fat-bike supremacy are staged to converge on a little desert oasis in the Nevada desert. Sven & I are headed out there, next week, to act as your eyes, ears and liver. Tune into fat-bike dot com’s live team coverage, directly from the Outdoor Dirt Demo at Bootleg Canyon, in Boulder City and the Show Floor of Interbike, located at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas Nevada! Tomorrow is also the 31st running of the Chequamegon Fat-Tire Forty up in Northern Wisconsin! We can’t wait to hear stories from some of our amigos that are racing! Tom Walwyn sent in the reports below of his recent unsupported fat-bike ride along the Canning Stock Route in Western Australia. They did it in 26 days (23 riding days) and are the first people to ride it this way south to north.
