Awesome! In roughly two years (after I complete my degree) I want to do Portland to Portland on my Moonlander. Headed west, of course. 😉

Good riding. I want to see more about this trip.

Great to see you out there and doing so well. Next year I will ride from Calgary Alberta to Victoria British Columbia on the trans canada trail. Ran out of time this year. I hope I have as much fun as you. Good luck.

Thanks Fat-Bike.com peeps! I’m currently in Charleston SC sipping on a liter of Holly City Overly Friendly IPA at Closed For Business. 120 miles from my destinstion of Savannah. Bike is doing great and I’m spreading some fat love down the Atlantic Coast!

Are you hitting some serious beach rides in the outer banks?

  5. Shawne November 6, 2013 at 7:39 am #

Plenty of beach riding along the banks. The sand is very soft though and loves to find its way into the drivetrain. Luckily surf shops abound and they had no problem letting me use their hoses to rinse and roll on grit free.

    Stay hydrated my friends…drink beer!

Shawne – Were you traveling on US301 north of Richmond, VA roughly two Sundays ago? (10/27/13??)

(heading south….road had turned to four lanes, passed over I-295 and probably went right through downtown?)

PN I went into Richmond where I bellied up at the Capital Ale House:)

PN that would be correct. Did you see me looking lost, drinking a beer, eating ice cream or all of the above? LOL
