Today’s photo stoke is from Steve Makin. Here’s what Steve had to say about this stark and beautiful portrait of the English coastline.
The photo was taken at Cockerham Sands which is on the north west coast of England, looking out at Morecambe Bay which is a notorious place for fast tides and quicksand. The steel ball is a washed up buoy, one of a number of sea going artifacts collected here on the coast. You can cross the bay at low tide with the help of a local guide, something I’d love to do on the fat bike at some time, but for now, I’m happy exploring along the coast.
