Grassroots Racing is still alive and kicking ass in Wisconsin! This is the race that started it all, back in the dark ages of fat-bike racing, behind the cheese curtain. The race that got booted out of Kettle Moraine for having Bikini Clad Podium Girls! The race that doesn’t charge an entry fee! The race that inspired a slew of races around the great state of Wisconsin and ruined everything in its path. Don’t settle for pale imitations of true gnome style fat-funskis. Taste the real thing and help support a brand new mountain bike trail system in SE Wisconsin. Bring a double sawbuck to put in the donation jar, so the trail org can plan and build MORE singletrack! I know that I’ll be there and so will Bike Black Ribbon Society members from both the Milwaukee and Chicago Chapters. You don’t even need to own or rent a fat-bike to participate. All you need is a sense of adventure!
