This photo was taken on July 24, 2014, by my buddy Doug Armstrong on our trip along the beach from Nikiski, Alaska, to Homer, Alaska, along the Kenai Peninsula. We were on the fourth day of our ride and had just rounded the corner headed toward Kachemak Bay.
