Our main man, Jeff Price, got together with a friend from work and few riders that he met through the UK Fat Bike Forums to conduct his Monthly Bivy in Wales. The only sound was the cracking of the fire and the waves lapping the shore down below out bivy spot.

We all do it. We plan our rides and hope they’re going to be the ‘special’ one. The ride that just ends up being perfect from the word go. On November 15th & 16th, that’s what I was hoping for as five of us left the cars and headed to the forest and beach of Newborough. The fat bikes brought five strangers together for the weekend, were friendships and memories were made. The usual wind, rain and frost of November never made an appearance as the weather gods were looking down on the fat bikes and gave us two of the best days we could have hoped for. This was the ‘perfect’ ride………
