I was contemplating getting a fat bike for winter use so I rented a Pugsley and rode the local singletrack at Tsalteshi trails in Soldotna Alaska, then I took it over to the beach in Kenai to get a sense of how it rode in the soft stuff. I fell in love with fat-biking and just returned from Beemuns Bike Loft in Soldotna with a Trek Farley. I’m looking forward to some new adventures in the winter time. You can’t have too many reasons to get outdoors in Alaska in the winter, it keeps you sane, and happy!
