Sven and I are at the Interbike Outdoor Demo in Boulder City, Nevada to share what’s new for 2016! Much of our coverage will be in the form of video interviews, but to keep you all in the loop with daily coverage , we’ll be updating the site with posts directly from both the show floor and the outdoor demo! We got to ride some pretty sweet fat-bikes today and we’ll be talking about what we thought of each bike on the Weekly Dose of Fat Show that will air on Friday Morning. Till then, feast your eyes on some (fat) jewels in the desert.

Borealis Flume in High-Vis Orange looked great in the desert! This is a new aluminum-framed fat-bike with carbon fork, carbon seatpost, carbon bars and a SRAM GX 1×11 drivetrain listing for $2199. Look for more on fat-bike.com soon and check out Borealis at fatbike.com!

The Original Equipment version of the Surly My Other Brother Darryl tubeless compatible rims are coming stock on the Surly Wednesday fat-bike.

Fatback’s new Skookum fat-bike is a trail-ready mountain bike that sports a more aggressive ride than a traditional snow race bike and can take on soft conditions as well as your favorite trail with equal aplomb. It sports a carbon frame, 197mm rear axle, Bluto in the front and 26×4.8″ tires.

The Skookum has an integrated downtube protector as we as chain stay protection to keep that carbon frame going for a long time.

A tribute to Fatback’s Alaskan heritage.

The Skookum has a tapered headtube too!

  1. No full suspension fatties?

A Santana prototype fat tandem, but no production Ventana Jefe fat tandem?

Come on guys, we don’t need pictures of bycep babes and head badges, lets see something new and unique.

    Any new fat bike forks??

  2. Thanks dudes for bringing Interbike to my phone! Great report, that Skookum is sweet, can’t wait to test ride it when Speedway stocks it. What’s up with the angry Focker??? Awesome work as always.
