Our amigo Chris Sulfrian from REEB cycles out there in Longmont, Colorado sent us some news, that basically said ” Gomez….our REEBdonkadonk frame just got fatter” The repercussions of Vee’s Snowshoe 2XL 5.o5 tire are starting to make ripples on lake fat-bike. REEB continues their US Made steel awesomness with your choice of 170 or 190mm on their REEBdonkadonk fat-bike. Donk’s are Gates Carbon Drive and dropper post compatible and can even be custom configured for the Pinion gearbox or set-up to run a Rohloff. The Donk features trail inspired geometry that compliments the Bluto suspension fork and evolved during rides in REEB’s back yard. A place that you might have heard of…..it’s called the Rocky Mountains?
The new 190 spaced Donk can handle the Vee Tire Co Snowshoe 2XL’s and features their American Made, proprietary REEB ABT Chromoly tubeset.
I love that they left the mud on this shot of the chainstay clearance with the 2XL! So now there’s two custom options for fat-bikes that can run the 2XL (Quiring and REEB). I bet there’ll be more coming soon. I wonder if there’ll be more true five inch tires coming from the other big guns in the fat-bike tire game, like Surly and Maxxis?
If you’d like to learn more about the new monster fatness of the REEBdonkadonk , tune into The Weekly Dose of Fat Show on Fat-Bike Radio this Friday for Show #81, where we talk to Chris Sulfrian about the new bike, in detail.

It doesn’t look like a lot of clearance.
From REEB – The chainstays have 6+mm of clearance on each side, more if you have the wheel farther back in the dropouts. Seatstays generally have more clearance.
Yes!!!
B double E R U N Only if it came in Point Special colors.
Is REEB taking orders from consumers for the Pinion Gearbox now? Last time I contacted them they said they were still working on distribution rights.
