Rusty Knorr is back with his third trip to the Ancient Lakes in the Pacific Northwest. He shot a travelogue of the trip along with a crew that included a few of our West Coast amigos from Northwest Fatbikes. Here’s what Rusty had to say about his clip.
Earth Day weekend I was fortunate enough to be able to organize and take part in the third annual Ancient Lakes Ride once again. This year we had amazing weather, rattlesnakes, black widow spiders, turtles, vultures, wind, endless wet wipe showers, pack raft dismount failures, a full moon rise, an invisible bat, a mysterious rumbling in the distance, and a really awesome group of riders. A good time was had by all! My deepest thanks to John, Boo, Shawn, and Josh for making it such a great time, I hope we can do it again next year! Check it out if you have a few minutes and join us on our annual adventure!

Demerit for the non-conforming nonfat rider!
Don’t worry, we sacrificed him to the rattlesnakes at the end of the ride.
