First Look– Shebeest Spring Line – by KitCat Montana

Hi Fat-bike.com readers! I’m bringing to you a sneak pre-view at Shebeest’s spring line up of women’s cycling wear. Shebeest is unique in that they only make women’s cycling gear and are dedicated to creating quality, proper fitting gear for the female athlete.  Fellow women riders you know the frustration of finding women specific riding gear that fits well, and appeals to our sense of atheistic.

Personally I struggle with finding cycling gear that fits those of us with a few more curves then the super fit bad assed female athletes that grace many women’s cycling advertisements.  If you share in my frustration, keep reading as I finally get to use these beautifully patterned clothes and I’ll let you know how they work for me riding bikes in real life.  For a little background, I’m 5’7’ and typically weigh in between 150-160 pounds, have definable biceps, and as my dear friend and Fat-bike.com test pilot Spinner says, “really thick legs.”  I also have boobs (I’m not sure if Gomez is going to edit this part out), which is more often than not is the deciding factor if a jersey fits!

I received several items including the awesomely patterned “Divine Britain’s Best Jersey” in “Scuba” (A), even the colorblind dogs were fascinated! The “S Cut Baroque” jersey in “Fuego” (not pictured),

Shebeest Shorts

The “Triple S Polkamania Ultimo” short (B), with Shebeest’s sheLastic Chamois, the “Petunia Houndstooth” bib short (C) AND the “Polkamania Summer Sleeve”(not pictured).  You can check out the descriptions and specs for all these items at Shebeest’s website

Summer has FINALLY arrived in Wisconsin so I’ll be using and reviewing these items over the next couple of months. The first test will be the Dairy Roubaix in Bagely Wisconsin. In the meantime, you can find more information about Shebeest at – www.shebeest.com
