If you’re looking to utilise your standard roof rack’s fork mount for your fat-bike, you’ll need an adapter. (thanks captain obvious) Our Bike Black Ribbon Test Pilot, Spinner Ryerson, introduced me to a brand new player in the fork adapter market called Fatdapter. Chunky machined, anodized aluminum lends the heft of a fine bicycle component, to the Fatdapter. I’m familiar with the fork mount adapters from Hurricane Industries. I have two of their adapters and I have to say that the Fatapter is way more burley. The Fatdapter is made in Wisconsin – Sells for $49.95 and comes with a lifetime warranty.

I have a Progear Albert with the 135mm QR; however not sure what size bushings this model requires?
