This is a photo of my Schlick Tatanka taken during a trip I took to Door County, The Thumb of Wisconsin, in 2013 when the water level of Lake Michigan was substantially lower than it is now. All the moonscape that is visible here is now under 1 to 3 feet of water. With the cold winters in the midwest the past couple of years, the lake’s evaporation levels have been lower helping to raise the lake level. Lake levels are historically cyclical so here’s looking forward to the next low point!
