WIN this BIKE & Help Rebuild the Levis Chalet

We’d like everyone to take a moment and remember that movie called Pay it Forward! Last Summer one of our favorite mountain bike trail centers in Wisconsin lost their Chalet to fire. The county had insurance and the building is scheduled to be rebuilt, but the local trail group has plans for some improvements. They set a fundraising goal of $20,000 and set up a GoFundMe site here — As you can see, they need some help to reach their goal.

Levis raffle bike fs

To help rebuild the Levis Chalet, we decided to build a special edition Levis Mission One – Surly Moonlander and raffle the bike off, with every penny raised, going to the effort to Help Rebuild the Levis Chalet. We started with a size Small, Surly Special Ops (green&gold) Moonlander and then we hydro-dipped the frame and fork and started to contact some industry folks to help us create a show quality, fat-bike that can tackle everything from a joy ride to the Arrowhead 135. I know that some of you see a size small and think to yourselves “why the hell did they pick a small? That bike won’t fit me!” and that’s where we ask you to consider a ‘Pay it Forward’ philosophy. Take a moment to ponder how it would make you feel to win this bike for a deserving youngster or someone that you would like to introduce to the joy of fat-biking. Maybe your niece, your kids, or perhaps a diminutive spouse or amigo. Of course you can always win it for yourself as well, but we’d love to think of this sweet little fatty going to a new home, getting ridden and spreading the fat-bike fun, like guava jelly on toast. If you really can’t think of what you could possibly do with our raffle bike (or live outside of the US), you can always donate directly to the Levis GoFundMe site, but if you think that you might like to take a chance to win this little honey, you can buy raffle tickets. One ticket is $20 and three tickets are $50. Just click on the buy tickets button button

We couldn’t have assembled the Levis Mission I Moonlander (LMIM) without the generous donations from Surly Bikes, Wren Sports, Framed Bikes, Revolution Cycles, Full Speed Ahead, Zion Cyclery and Bike Flights.

Bike Flights has donated up to a $200 voucher to ship the bike to the winner. There are too many obstacles to offer this raffle to folks that live outside of the US. If you’d like to help rebuild the Levis Chalet and do not live within the US you can donate to the Levis GoFundMe page or ‘Pay it Forward’ at a trail system near you with a donation or by attending a trail maintenance event in your area. 100% of the proceeds of the raffle will be donated to the Levis Mound trail organization, NATA  – Neillsville Area Trail Association. Void where prohibited by law.
