Wallpaper Wednesday ♦ OG Pug & the Maah Daah Hey

This week’s Wallpaper Wednesday comes straight out of the high plains of North Dakota from Barb Curtis. This is Barb’s OG Purple Pugsley out on the Maah Daah Hey Trail. Her sweet steel pug is leaned up against one of the trail markers for the MDH. The symbol for the trail is the turtle. Adopted from the Lakota Sioux Indians, the turtle symbolizes patience, loyalty, determination, steadfastness, long-life and fortitude. The turtle shell symbolizes protection and its effigy is emblazoned on the posts that mark the trail. I need to get back out to the Dakotas again. I have such fond memories from trips there.
