CABDA – Fat & Plus Report

CABDA is a show held by the Chicago Area Bicycle Dealer Association where vendors and distributors show Independent Bicycle Dealers what they have available to offer their customers for the coming season. It’s a show that has a rich history and has changed quite a bit over the last few decades. This year’s show moved to a new larger venue, the Schaumburg Convention Center, and was very well attended, by bicycle dealers drawn by an impressive list of exhibitors. We heard more than one exhibitor call the show a success “Like a mini interbike”.

We thought about recording the Dose Podcast from the show, but that didn’t work with everyone’s schedule, so our back-up plan evolved into BBR Test Pilot Evan Larsson and I hitting the expo floor with the goal of getting all of the fat and plus products onto our cameras (herding pixels like internet gauchos). So I should stop babbling and show you what we found.

  3. Check tape. I am pretty sure the Norco at the top is a BigFoot not a Sasquatch. I love my BigFoot. Can’t wait until they make a Sasquatch in forest green.
