Will Muecke sent us this photo of Playa Esterillos Oeste on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. September is their rainy season, so this was just after the late-day thunderstorms rolled through and left the sky boiling with heavy clouds. Dusk — just around 530/6PM. Beautiful, briny warm air filled with that post-sunset in Blue Steel light. Bike is a Borealis XX1 Yampa with custom Team CoreCo Nextie 90mm carbon rims, 45NRTH HuDu 120TPI tires set as tubeless, and a Wolftooth Components 30T snowflake chainring (which is the best and only way to enjoy a snowflake in the tropics!)
