Wallpaper Wednesday – America’s Dairyland

[adrotate banner=”38″]

Welcome to the local spooky singletrack. The Jefferson County-Trail Builders have been hard at work building a compact set of twisties just south of the Fat Cave. They just added the feature that Ten Beers is sitting on and the humpty-bump has been there for about a year. They’re currently working on the third loop at the Glacial River Mountain Bike Trails on a plot of Jefferson County land that used to be the site of the Forest Lawn Tuberculosis and Consumption Sanatorium. (spooky!) I see deer and wild turkeys when I ride there. One thing that I seldom see there is people. I think I’m the only person that rode this set of loops in the snow last winter. However, the last time I rode there, I saw a dude on a new Beargrease in a Two Rivers Cyclery jersey! #builditandtheywillcome
