Wallpaper Wednesday – New Alaskan Series by Jay Cable

Here we are in the last week of August and if you’re like me (a winter-bike-weirdo) you’re looking forward to the quiet solitude of Winter Trail riding. We’re going to start featuring a monthly Alaskan Wallpaper Wednesday Series from our amigo Jay Cable that should start to get you in the mood for some winter bike fun. Jay Cable grew up in Skagway, Alaska, and learned to love the outdoors by accompanying his dad, a ranger, on the Chilkoot Trail.  For the past twenty-five years, he’s lived in Fairbanks.  His hobbies are riding bikes and raising twins. One twin says: “He likes bikes.”  The other twin says: “He likes dogs almost as much as bikes”.  I have it on good authority that Jay is also really good at breaking bike parts.

Jay’s premier Wallpaper Wednesday is a portrait of Tom M, taken just after sunset in the White Mountains National Recreation Area, the home of the White Mountains 100
