Wallpaper Wednesday – Pancia Rosa

This week’s Wallpaper Wednesday comes to us from Mark “Jake The Snake” Jacobson . This is Mark’s second Wallpaper Wednesday feature and this shot features a Fatback Skookum with a Lauf Carbonara Fork. Mark named his Skookum Pancia Rosa. It’s time to start thinking about riding in the snow. It’s the perfect time of year to pull the seatpost out of your bike and lube it up for what’s next. #winteriscoming

  1. Hey hey, that’s one of my babies! Can’t wait to get back on snow. That photo was taken last March near the top of Bald Mountain during the best crust season I’ve ever had up here in Truckee, CA. We had a record snowpack and about a month of perfect crust conditions. The photo information indicates 10:26 a.m and as you can see by my tracks in the background it’s still “perfect crust”. 15°f in the mornings, blue skies, typically not hitting 34°f until 11:30 or so. Can’t wait to do it all over again. We had our first now last Saturday. Bring it!
