The Stowe Trails Partnership and Mountain Bike Vermont are at it again for 2020!
MTBVT has partnered with the Stowe Trails Partnership to offer a day of fatbike revelry on powder packed singletrack. On Saturday January 11th, 2020 we will be gathering at Ranch Camp in Stowe to lead a two-wheeled charge against Old Man Winter. Join us for fatbike group rides, fatbike demos, and hearty brews around warm fires.
Uberwintern will once again be HQ’d at Ranch Camp on Mountain Road, with trailside access to Cady Hill and a vendor / demo space in the parking lot. A new remote aid station, aka Party Central, will be set up at the fire pit outside of the von Trapp Brewery where attendees can enjoy some light fare and a brew. Registration, group ride departures, demos, and lunch will be all take place at Ranch Camp, aka Uberwintern HQ.
“Now in its eighth year, Überwintern plays host to those brave enough to keep charging on two wheels in the depth of winter. We couldn’t be more stoked!” says event founder Ryan Thibault of MTBVT. “As a fatbiker it’s a privilege to add a little MTBVT flair to the winter cycling scene in Vermont!”
The ticket price includes on-site demos, group rides, lunch (with both carnivorous and veggie options), as well as a beverage. So pump up those tires, break out the extra layers, and get ready to party MTBVT style… it’s tradition!
