Hola amigos! Let’s get this party started with three cheers for the winner of our Blackburn Designs Contest – John Lackey!
Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah!
John won the Iditirod Trail Invitational in 2015. Be sure to check out our new PDW/Tifosi Contest at the end of this post.
Fat Tribe Fridays are all about getting back to our roots and celebrating fat-bike culture from around the globe. Let’s get right to the fabulous fat pixels.
Kenneth Johansen sent us this shot from Alta Finmark, Norway
Peter Meier sent us this shot of his sled near Temperance Lake Ontario, Canada. He and his wife also run an event for kids. Check it out! – https://eosmbc.weebly.com/
Martin J McGuire sent us this shot of his “joker” fatty. He must hail from parts unknown, but I like his style! (I♥stickers) Martin also shared a quote from my one of my favorite philosophers.
To the world, you may be one person… but to one person you may be the world.
– Dr. Seuss
Trevor (Allroy) Hughes sent us a shot of his 2019 Norco BigFoot. He named his bike “Babe” after Paul Bunyan’s big blue ox. Trevor hails from Canada!
Mark (Wojo) Wojcik is a Californian living in Oslo struggling with winter for a decade until he found fat-bikes. He said that his Surly Ice Cream Truck saved his life and gave him something fun to do in the winter!
This is a pic on his Ice Cream Truck from an epic ride near his house to a friends cabin 24km in Nordmarka Forrest in Oslo. He was so stoked about his maiden snow ride, that he designed a pair of rad vans to commemorate it.
Al Scott sent us this shot of his fatty after the first snow in Western Maine.
PDW/Tifosi CONTEST!!!
In our June contest, you can win a pair of PDW Hot Take bags and a rad pair of Tifosi Sledge Sunglasses!
You can bet your studded tires that we’ll include a delightful array of fat-bike stickers to the winners’ prize packages as well. To enter send an email with your mailing address to gomez@fat-bike.com with June Contest in the subject line. Folks that share photos with their entry will get stickers. Just as a friendly reminder, it makes it a lot easier to mail you (or a friend) some rather splendid fat-bike stickers if you remember to include your address. We don’t share or even save your information. Most of the time you get a handwritten piece of mail direct from the Colonel Steve Austin Bicycle Propulsion Laboratories containing stickers for your cooler, toolbox, or even your Fat-Bike!
We’ll choose one random winner on June 30th so get your entries in before then. Fun on Bikes with Prizes! #fatbikedotcom

Contest Rules – Prizes are available to US Residents only. We’ll choose a random winner from the entries that we receive and announce the winner at the end of May 2020. The winner(s) will be notified via email. We don’t sell your data and you won’t be added to any lists.
Congrats to John!????
