Ten years ago, the first installment of the Weekly Dose of Fat was published on fat dash bike dot com. It started as a weekly news digest that covered everything that was going on in the world of fat bikes. The Weekly Dose of Fat evolved into a podcast with a revolving eclectic cast of characters. We interviewed show guests that included a who’s who of the bike industry coupled with copious amounts of silliness. That podcast gave birth to a myriad of spin-off shows that continue to this day. The Dose of Fat is now a column that has come full circle back to a news digest about Fat, Plus, Klunker, Singlespeed, Bikepacking, Multi-Surface bicycles, riding, events, with the occasional reference to gnomes.

Global Fat-Bike Day 2021!
On December 4th, 2021, people from all over the globe, will get out for a ride on their fat-bikes! They’ll go for a solo cruise or maybe make plans to gather their fat-bike amigos, for a group ride! Don’t forget your camera, because part of the Global Fat-Bike Day celebration will include sharing your experience, through photos and video! Use the hashtag #GFBD2021.
