Kona’s (New) Woo

Kona just announced their new colorway for the Woo! The new color is called Light Olive Metallic and it’s not currently available in the US, but it will be soon.

We’ve published reviews of the 2020 and the 2021 Kona Woo. We even recorded a podcast with the Ronsta and Danimal reviewing the bike. The Woo is back and this is what the folks at Kona shared.

The Woo continues to be one beloved fat beast! Its ability to carry massive amounts of gear with its three-pack cage mounts aboard its carbon disc fork makes it a sand and snow bikepacking favorite. With geometry derived from the Honzo, ultra-powerful hydraulic disc brakes, and a 12-speed drivetrain, you’re in complete control whether climbing up snowy mountains or surfing sandy descents. 4.8” tires ensure that rolling over anything is possible. We bet you’ll catch yourself “Wooing” your way down your favorite trails.

It’s good to see that twenty-six-inch fat bikes are still alive and well. That means that you’ll be able to run all of your sweet legacy twenty-six-inch rubber, like Nates, Husker Du’s, or Bud & Lou – because I think that you’re going to want to ditch those Vee Tires. I can’t name one of our product testers that have anything good to say about Vee Tires. Tires make a big difference when it comes to how a fat bike feels.

Dark Metallic Green

The Woo in light Olive Metallic is not currently available in the USA, but it will be soon! In the meantime, the dark Metallic Green is available in the USA.
