Fat (Video) Tuesday – Searching for Winter via Fatbike – Bikepacking Glen Tilt

Follow along on a last of the holiday fat-bike bikepacking ride up Glen Tilt in Scotland attempting to find winter weather on the first ride of 2025.

Sven Says:

Every time I see one of the videos from the Scttish contingent of our fat-bike breetheren I get curious about these desolate places and the folks who’ve lived there for centuries.

There is a good shot of this lodge whilst riding past. Marble Lodge Glen Tilt – https://atholl-estates.co.uk/stay-with-us/highland-lodges/marble-lodge/

Blair Castle is just amazing (not in the video but very cool!) – https://atholl-estates.co.uk/blair-castle/

Atholl Estates is also home to the Atholl Highlanders, a Scottish ceremonial infantry regiment. They are the only remaining private army in Europe and act as the personal bodyguard to the Duke of Atholl – Chief of the Clan Murray – who have thrived in Perthshire for some 750 years. – https://atholl-estates.co.uk/blair-castle/atholl-highlanders/
