In a preparation for a proposed cross-Antarctica cycling adventure, the Biking Viking headed to Sweden for a 2-week cold weather training course at Jadat Adventure plus some fat-bike training pulling a Pulk sled. Beautiful Swedish sunset!
Today is, in fact, the actual Fat Tuesday in 2025. I forget exactly when I made the connection to call this section Fat (Video) Tuesday. Likely it was at Ray’s Indoor Mountain Bike Park when they had a Milwaukee location because we did several trips there on our fatbikes on Tuesdays! Fat Tuesday at Ray’s. Anyhoo, that was a dozen years ago or so and we still love finding interesting fat-bike related videos to share with you. Ride on!
What is Fat Tuesday?
For Catholic folks Fat Tuesday is a feast (in many places a full-on party!) before fasting for the Lenten season begins. The concept is to make it easier to fully engage in Lent and experience spiritual growth. So say we all!
