This column is all about fat-bike history! I really dig checking in on stuff that happened at the beginning of the fat-bike craze! Fat-bike.com was there! Reliving the “good ol’ days” while writing these columns sure brings back good memories and reminds me that there are many more to come! Plus, it gives me the opportunity to clean up dead links and get those old posts into the modern era of WordPress structure.
This Week in Fatbike History
The following links and commentary are from the Weekly Dose of Fat published on 6-8-12! Yes, they all still work. 13 years ago and are still available on the web today ! Fat-biking history endures!
Let us begin…

This photo of a Pugsley and a Spearfish near the top of Ben Lomond Peak (Ogden, Utah) at 9,712ft. Dustin shot this photo on a ride from North Fork Park at 5,440 ft to the top. The back side of this peak was still covered in snow!
Dirt Burger happened in Decorah during the upcoming weekend. At least Beaker, Spinner, O’Gara and I rolled the fat. I expect to see a few more fatbikes there.
Also, we planned an unofficial Fatbike meet up during the Fat Tire Tour of Milwaukee.
