– 3rd Annual Fatathlon 9 Mile Fat Bike Ride and Cornhole Toss at Shannon Lake in St. Germain WI. $25 to race. Free demos on-site. Schedule Free Demos Presented by, and as a fundraiser for Lakeland Area Mountain Bike Organization (LAMBO) at lamboriders.org – The 3-day race consists of 3 unique events: Afternoon Race (19km) takes place on Friday afternoon. The start & finish is on the promenade in the centre of Gstaad. Marathon Race (60km) takes place on Saturday. This is the heart of the Snow Bike Festival, as it is the longest and most challenging part of the race. (This race doubles up as a One Day UCI & Amateur Race to cate for riders who can’t take part all three days). Downhill Endurance Race (36km) takes place on Sunday. For most riders, this will be the highlight of the Snow Bike Festival. With 1,050m descend over 6 kilometres. – The Cycle Works/Moose’s Tooth Frozen Fatbike Ididaride is a fatbike race that offers a great mid-winter challenge on a course set in Pioneers Park This will be Fatbikes only race, which means you must have two wheels, having a 3.8 inch or wider tire, and no motor/engine. The race will be a 20k race that can be run solo or as a 2-3 person team. There will be heated tent for check-in, pre/during/post race resting and relaxing and after the race there will be chili, hot chocolate and coffee available as a part of your race entry! Day of entries will be accepted, solo riders, additional $10 and teams, additional $20 – Year #6 If you have never tried a fat bike before, and wanted to try before you buy, here is your chance...for free. Or if you already have a fatty, come hang with some fellow fat bikers and ride some cool trails. Free Fat Bike Demo from 10:00-12:00pm featuring the Salsa Mukluk with wide 4.8" tires. Full size run available. 18 years or older only. Group Rides: Starting at 12:30pm. More info coming.... – If you like fat bikes, beer, and bacon then this event is for you! Come on out to Friends Of Off-Road Cycling’s annual Frozen Fat Fondo Fest. This is a 3-hour ‘race’ for as many laps as you can do while enjoying beer stops and our bacon cooking station at ‘The Crotch’ tree feature/obstacle. This event is held on an island and course is usually set just days before due to weather conditions. This is a rain, sleet, snow event that is never cancelled. If you are looking for a great time - please register and come on out to spend time with like-minded people. – Most Awesome Fat Bike Race!! Join us at the Minocqua Zip Trail as we Fat bike into Leap Day! Don't let the distance fool you as this is a challenging lap. Race down the fast and flowy trail with berms, and downhills that will excite even the seasoned riders. A few surprises will also be added to this fun race! Awards and after party to follow.
