FORC Frozen Fat Fondo Festival

FORCs Frozen Fat Fondo Festival is Feb 7, 2015.  Rain or Shine, Snow or Slime, the FFFFestival is Feb 7.

THANKS to folk like you, Friends of Off Road Cycling hosted Global Fat Bike Day's largest gathering of fat bikes In-The-World in 2013, right here in lil' ole Davenport, Iowa. It was a steamy 7F at start time, lotsa hearty folk. We're hopping on that fat momentum by establishing the FFFFestival.

Our Fondo course is on the Mississippi River bottoms where Mother Nature blesses us with a flood each spring, bringing new features like logs, buoys, rocks, docks, used condoms, roots, sand, mud, refrigerators, muck, debris, downed trees, tires, fish hooks and everything else that makes a perfect Fat Bike environment.

A cross country race on snow this ain't.  The route showcases and requires the advantages a fat bike brings to the off-trail riding world.

The Fondo has an entry fee and accepts entrant donations of a 6 pack for the beverage potluck and shenanigans after the show.  Yep.
