4th Annual SnowBike Enduro

Come join in on all the fun as we fire up the Team SnowBike Enduro for another year of fatbiketasticness in the snow. This year we will be returning to Silver Lake Park (Salem, WI) but to keep things interesting, we have a few surprises in store for you but I’ll give you a hint – new singletrack! That’s right! The same righteous course but with more righteousness mixed in.

Anyone that’s been to one of the past TSEs can tell you it’s a complete blast. Lots of camaraderie, lots of laughing, lots of fun on fat bikes! There will also be plenty the following – grilling (bring your own and remember to share), fire(s), pre race waffles(!), beverages (bring your own and remember to share), and hot fat bike racing action.

This year’s TSE will follow the same format as last year (and the year before, and the year before that, and the year before that!). In case you forgot – a pre-race derby by team captains will determine the draw order for a rider draft. Teams of three will race for three hours. The team with the most laps wins. In the event of a tie, feats of strength will be used to determine the ultimate outcome. You can show up with a preformed team but there is no guarantee that come race time your team will still be intact. This is the Team SnowBike Enduro after all!

And remember, you DO NOT NEED A FAT BIKE TO RACE!! Since each team will have at least one fat bike (minimum 3.7” tires required), all riders on a team need not own a fat bike.

Festivities will begin with registration starting at 10:30 ($20), derby will be at 12:30, and the racing action begins promptly at 1:00 and ends at 4:00.

This year’s race is brought to you by the Black Bike Ribbon Society and the Kenosha Area Mountain Bike Association. All proceeds from this year’s race will go towards trail building efforts underway by KAMBA at Silver Lake County Park. Come out and race for a good cause!
