The Lake Macbride Fat Tire Classic is a Fat Bike race like no other. Presented by Sugar Bottom Bikes and The Solon Centennial Lions Club, the race will take you around scenic Lake Macbride on twisty pea gravel, flowing singletrack, scenic beaches, blazing fast double track, hilly and steep snowmobile trails, challenging hiking trails, and some scenic gravel roads. The past 4 years the fast end of the race has finished at around 2 hours with the back end of the race taking as long as 5 1/2 hours for 25 mile versions of the course. For 2022 we've kicked things up a notch with an addition to the route which will add an extra 5-6 miles of snowmobile trail, pavement, and gravel! We are expecting the new route to take racers 2 1/2 hours to 6 1/2 hours.

Start Time: 11:00 AM (subject to change +/- 1 hour)

Distance: ~10 Miles

This event is meant to be casual fun and riders will not be timed.

The Fat & Flurious will be a 2-lap fat bike race utilizing the Missouri River Natural Area trails and the sandbars along the Missouri River. Each lap will be approximately 5 miles. Race will begin shortly after 12pm. Laps will be counted as racers cross through the start/finish line.

If 2- laps aren't enough, sign up for Too Fat, Too Flurious for twice the fun! The 4-lap race will use the same route as the 2-lap Fat & Flurious race. This race will begin at Noon.

Each racer will receive a custom fat bike fender with their registration - quantities will be limited. Race plates and fenders can be picked up at 701 Cycle and Sport on Friday, February 11th from 4-6pm or Race morning at the Missouri River Natural Area Trailhead starting at 11am. Registration closes at 11:30am on 02/12/2021. Race meeting at 11:30am.

Tires must be at least 3.8" width.

Join us at the Zip Mountain Bike Trail in Minocqua Wisconsin for this one of a kind fat bike race. Rip the Zip, Zip the Zipline and Sip some Hinterland brew, have a great time with other fatbikers and fun people!

The race course (located at the Zip Mountain Bike Trails in Minocqua, WI) takes full advantage of LAMBO\'s fantastic single-track and epic flow trails, all meticulously groomed for winter fat biking. Experience fast and flowy, berms and downhills, and a few challenging climbs.
Don\'t let the distance fool you. If you enter the 3 lap, 21K race you will definitely be challenged. The single-lap 7K race has a few challenges as well, but is great for those newer to fat biking.
We will have beer from Hinterland served in cans and bottles only, and refreshments available as well, individually packaged and/or served maintaining all recommended guidelines.
We\'ll have music and a giant fire ring with lots of room to spread out. There won\'t be a warming tent this year, but we will have a changing tent available for individual use. Masks and hand sanitizers will be available. Masks required in the set-up area.
