C5 GORE-TEX THERMO GLOVES
I’ll get straight to the point about these gloves, fantastic once again by GORE!
I’ve used these gloves down to -4c here in the UK and they kept the cold air from getting to my hands which is a great indication of their insulation and windproofing.
When I did wear them in milder temperatures they were as toasty warm as I’ve ever been with gloves on, if anything a little too warm which isn’t a bad thing and even then they were breathable which stopped my hands from sweating.
There is the typical soft material along the fore finger and thumb for those moments when you need it
GORE states that they are extremely breathable, durably waterproof, and totally windproof and once again they are 100% correct.
As they are a winter glove, they are a bit on the bulky side but you won’t get the insulation otherwise which is a good price to pay.
These gloves sport the same build quality you come to expect from GORE. The velcro adjustment is handy for fine-tuning the fit. Internally they are fleece lined which with the foam-padded palm, provides shock absorption to prevent fatigue when out for the day.
The Gore and Gore-Tex logos on the top of the gloves are reflective and there’s also a reflective fabric strip on the outside of the smallest finger, so reflection in the dark is good.
All in all, GORE has once again done what they have always done and has stuck to its word.
I’m looking forward to some chilly days ahead here in the UK as I know I’ll be just fine with these winter gloves.

I didn’t know that Gomez spent time riding in the UK. Or has the author credit been lost? 😉
