It’s been a hell of a great spring for riding in the Big Whiskey. Drought conditions make for some really buff dirt ribbons at Kettle, JeffCo, and Camrock. What have trail conditions been like in your region recently?
Let’s get right to some of the photos that we received over the last few weeks from Ya’all. Here are a few shots from — Mark Colley
“The first two are my Fatback Rhino on the Clear Creek James Lee loop this spring.
Next is the Surly Big Fat Dummy out doing some maintenance a couple of weeks ago.”
“I’d say the fat bikes are out riding where they belong.” — Mark Colley
Next up we’ve got a shot from Josh Arndt of the now-extinct Why Cycles, Big Iron.
Josh listens to the Danger Gnome Podcast sent in this shot to enter a KOO Sungalsses contest we ran. This is what he shared about his foto-gordo – “Here’s a picture while checking out the spring melt after swapping to the summer shoes on my big iron. Enjoy – Joshua”
Sticker it Forward
If you’d like some stickers for you…your ride buddies…or maybe the bartender with the best tattoos at the local brewhouse… send us a photo of your local fat-bike playground and an address so the gnomes down in the mailroom can jet them, babies, to the post office. My email is gomez@fat-bike.com. ¡Las bicis Gordas, para ti!
