15th Iditarod Trail Invitational fat bike race

The 15th annual Iditarod Trail Invitational fat bike ultra marathon starts Sunday February 28 at Knik Lake Wasilla. 12 fat bikers are signed up for the 1000 mile distance from Knik to Nome, 35 fat bikers are signed up for the 350 mile event and 9 fat bikers are signed up for the 130 mile event from Knik to Winter Lake Lodge. There are 13 nationalities represented in the 2015 edition and a total of 39 returning race veterans. The ITI will be offering live tracking of the competitors again with Trackleaders.

The Iditarod Trail Invitational is the oldest and longest winter fat bike event with a long tradition of fat biking on the Iditarod Trail tracing back into the mid 80's.
