This is a video shot by Rich Omdahl. Rich is the man behind the grandaddy of all winter race series’ up at Hillside Park in Elk River, Minnesota; The Cold Bear Challenge. Hillside is home to many unique technical trail features. This video was put together to show what some of these features look like in the winter. It was a particularly snowy winter, so they look a little lower to the ground than normal. In fact, some of the rock features go almost unnoticed beneath the snow. Hillside has 8 miles of tight singletrack that is groomed all winter for fatbike riding.
