  1. Origin8 Devist8er really do feel that much heavier that the others having ridden them now for a few days. I didn’t think I would notice so much but I do. They are still very nice.

  2. tread is lead, as in the metal. Lose rotating mass with alloy nipples, thin tubes and a 1/2 drill bit. Or ride a road bike.

  3. Haven’t seen Kevlar beaded Surly tires in the wild yet. Don’t expect much in the way of weight savings though. As soon as they are available we’ll update the list.

  4. Dang, I had a pair of 26X 4.0 Innova Spiders and didn’t weigh them. I gave them to Karen, maybe she could weigh them and report.
Internet searches lists them at 1350 grams, But they felt much heavier.

  5. Hi, from Spain.
I know a little more about weight but, would you please help me with measures?.
I am thinking in fitting a pair of 26 Mavic Crossmark with Surly 3.0 Knard tires in an On One Inbred 29.
Has anyone this tires and measure the wideth in a normal 26 rim?
    Thanks and Cheers.

  6. More #’s :
    On One 4.0 Floater – 1540 and 1450 grams, 120 tpi folding.
    On One tubes 26 x 2.5 – 575 and 590 grams.

  7. This needs an update. 60tpi Nate gum walls ( surly lists kevlar bead while others list wire bead?) New Fatback Sterling, actual production Snowshoes, New Dillinger Studded vs. Non… etc.

Some has to own some of these and could share.

    • I’ve weighed 4 different Specialized Ground Control Fat (26 x 4.6″) tires. Average weight was 1350g, spread was 1338g to 1359g.

  8. 11/20/2014:

    Knard (27tpi): 1729g
    Knard (27tpi): 1729g
    Bud (120tpi): 1559g
    Lou (120 tpi): 1502g

  9. I weighed my on one floaters and they weighed 1395 and 1425. I got these floaters in Dec 2013. I wonder if the newer batches are lighter as I have others in mtbr confirm similar weights as I have.

I also have oem 120 tpi Nate and they weighed 1400. They were from a 2014 mukluk 2.

  10. Hi.

Can the width of all tires please be included? The dillinger comes in two sizes. others don’t have width. Maybe divide into 3.5 – 4 inch and 4-5 inch so it makes less frustrating reading?
    Cheers guys

    J

  11. Colored Floaters were around 1750g.
Thickish sidewalls, should be killer tubeless.
Bling comes with a 1/2 lb. cool penality I guess.

  12. My 4″ big daddys are 1580, running with 29er tubes no hassles. Wonder if going tubeless will save me much weight?

  13. My maxxis minion 4.8 FBR and fbf are 1750 grams each!
Got some 4.4 schwalbe jumbo Jim’s which are 1150 grams each
