Our amigos, from out in Idaho (Dave & Christi), sent us their newest addition to the Vibe Cycles line of custom fat-builds. This is Dave’s personal Ti Rex. A hand built titanium 29+! Rock’n silver rabbit holes, a Lefty fork and custom paint. This rail-job features a 41″ wheelbase with very compact 16.75″ chainstays and a curved seat tube to keep the bike snappy through tight single track. The frame features Paragon Machine Works – Polydrops with a thru axle, anchored to an XX1 drivetrain.
Dave designed his true 29+ around a Lefty shock and created this monster trail shredder! Of course, he added his choice of custom touches like internal cable routing and rack mounts for bike -packing. The frame weighs in at 3 lbs 8 oz and the complete bike (as built) weighs 26 lbs 8 oz. A custom frame like Dave’s would set you or I back $2,250 or the complete build would come in around $3,800.
