You probably knew this was coming but just in case you didn’t, here are pix and specs on the new full suspension fat-bike from Salsa called the Bucksaw. We will be up on the mountain and Snowbasin riding this bad boy today! Look for first impressions later on.

2015 Salsa Bucksaw

Bucksaw is Salsa’s full-suspension fatbike, blurring the lines between “fatbike” and “full-suspension mountain bike.”

Utilizing fatbike-specific Split Pivot™ rear suspension engineering and the RockShox Bluto fork, 100mms of front and rear travel result in an incredibly capable trail bike. The efficient suspension works in conjunction with the four-inch tires to deliver unparalleled traction and stability. The large tires also provide flotation on soft surfaces, like sandy washes and gravel beds.

Tackling the rocky ledges of the deserts southwest or the rooty, boulderstrewn dirt of the Icelandic tundra, the Bucksaw eats it all up in confidence. The “Where can I ride Bucksaw?” question in your mind will quickly change to “Where can’t I ride Bucksaw?” Bucksaw. Redefining boundaries.
