The original Wisconsin team snowbike race is back for yet another year!!  Click on the flyer above to go to the FaceBook page or see below (or both!!) for more details.  You don’t want to miss the good times that are – the Team SnowBike Enduro!!

The Team SnowBike Enduro –The first and always the best snowbike race in Wisconsin returns for its 5th Annual celebration of all things fatbike, snow, and enduro. As with the past two years, we will be riding the beautiful snowbike racing grounds at Silver Lake Park in Salem, Wisconsin. Others have tried to duplicate our team format but none have been able to successfully achieve the levels of pure snowbike ecstasy brought to you by the TSBE over the last 5 years. No other race (especially one taking place on the same day) can provide the same level of snowbike racing satisfaction, camaraderie, and just plain old funky good times!

Conditions permitting, the course will be mechanically groomed this year and will be a mix of double and singletrack! Singletrack you say? We’ve been busy during the off-season and have even more singletrack goodness to add in for this year!!

The race format will remain the same. We pioneered the format so why mess with a good thing?! – a pre-race derby by team captains will determine the order for a rider draft. Teams of three will race for three hours. The team with the most laps wins. In the event of a tie, feats of strength will be used to determine the ultimate outcome. You can show up with a preformed team but there is no guarantee (come race time) you’ll be embracing one another at the starting line.

As Always, you DO NOT NEED A FAT BIKE TO RACE!! Since each team will have at least one fat bike (minimum 3.7” tires required), all riders on a team need not own a fat bike. It’s the way of the Team SnowBike Enduro. Unity through snowbiking

Festivities will begin with registration starting at 10:00 (we’re asking for a $20 donation), derby will be at high Noon, and the racing action begins promptly at 1:00.

This year’s race is brought to you by the ever present, seldom seen Bike Black Ribbon Society and the hard working folks at Kenosha Off-Road Bicycling Association (KORBA). Fire and brats (!!) provided by the graciousness of 75th Street Inn.  Beer (21 and over) is being provided by the awesome folks at Deschutes Brewing.  All proceeds from this year’s race will go towards the trail building efforts underway by KORBA at Silver Lake Park. Come out and race for a good cause!
