Introduced at Sea Otter – $2999 Borealis Echo GX

Borealis Bikes has upped the ante and lowered the price of the carbon echo with the new echo GX! Debuting at the 25th Annual Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, CA, the echo GX breaks the $3000 barrier with a well specced carbon fat-bike at $2999.

Colorado Springs, Colo./ Monterey, Ca –  (April 16, 2015) – The Fat Bike Company, whose cutting edge product line includes Borealis Bikes, unveiled the new echo GX Fat Bike. The echo GX can be purchased through Borealis trusted dealers and will debut during the Sea Otter Classic this week at the company’s booth #134!

“Our goal is to offer a high end carbon fiber product while ensuring affordability for all riders,” said Steve Kaczmarek, company Founder and CEO. “The new echo GX achieves this goal and we look forward to seeing it open the doors for riders who are looking to experience a ride that only a Borealis bike can deliver, but at a significantly lower price point. In addition, the echo GX provides our dealers the opportunity to sell a high-end product, while also offering numerous future upgrades for custom options.”

Boasting the all new GX 1×11 drivetrain and DB5 brakes exclusively from SRAM, the echo GX features frames in small, medium, large and extra-large sizes. The bike comes spec’d with the signature Borealis rigid carbon fork with 150x15mm thru axle, and 80mm alloy rims with 3.8’ tires. The weight of the echo GX is 28.5 lbs. The echo GX boasts all new silver on black graphics.
